Please be careful of online only CPR certifications
There are folks out there selling online only CPR certifications. These certifications are ok for the folks wanting to get CPR certified, unless you need your certification for work. All regulatory agencies such as OSHA, MSHA and state agencies require a performance review which includes a written test and a practical application or in this case hands on skills. Check out the link to the right and find out if online certification meets your needs. Don’t put your job or employer at risk by purchasing this online only certification only to find out it does not meat your employment requirements. Even though you may think you are saving yourself a little cash. You might have to pay twice for a COR class.
We do offer blended training which includes the ability of you doing the classroom portion online. Once you complete the online portion, you schedule a skills application session with one of our instructors, and bam your legal. OSHA CHANGES ARE COMING
Several of the Crane regulations will be changing in 2014. Most importantly will be the need for ALL crane operators to become certified. Yes that means all, any no matter what size or application. After 2014 you will no longer be able to train your small crane operators unless you are a certified trainer. This change is in effect NOW, you have until November 10, 2014 to receive the certification. Another rule changing will be the requirement for personal fall protection in residential construction.
